Baan Tha Chang Pond is a spring of water that flows all year round. Naturally, the water that springs up is rainwater that falls into the underground. It has filtered by high calcium carbonate rocks which make the water clear. It has blue-green color with the alkalinity of the water that is similar to the Emerald Pool in Krabi. The springing water has around 4 ponds or cascading layers connecting together. There is a weir that is the waterfall allowing to swim except in the springing water area. Also, there are small walkway and cross bridge to the opposite side to see the scenery around the pond with full of shade and greenery trees where is a good place for picnicking and relaxing. In the front of the entrance, there are Isan restaurants. It is allowed to take the food inside the pond area except the alcohol drinks and it is free for entrance.
